Both women and men are welcome to participate in TIPS’ events and activities. But, TIPS™ focuses on women.  The reasons become clear as the numbers speak for themselves.

The Gallup Organization supports the emphasis on women supervisors.  It states in their “State of the American Manager’s Report,” (2015).


“While there are many highly successful female and male managers, female managers do have a slight advantage when it comes to engagement.  And, it’s an advantage that leaders should consider when deciding whom to name as managers…[The most effective workplace transformations may be accomplished by] hiring and promoting more women supervisors…and using talent as the basis for selection decisions…Talent is an equalizer that can help remove gender bias in the hiring process.”


In other words, talent and talent development can assist with reaching parity between the representation of men (66%) and women supervisors (34%). TIPS™ helps organizations to close this divide.
